1882 silver quaich curling trophy

A Scottish quaich drinking vessel, 2.50" diameter, 4.75" wide, sterling silver hallmarked for 1882 Edinburgh, handles features crossed brooms and curling stones, thick gauge footed bowl is decorated with fine hand-tooled friezes, rim is hand-etched "Presented by Sir Robert & Lady Moncreiffe to the Trinity Gask Curling Club January 1889", recipient of the trophy are etched on the bowl, excellent condition on this unusual Scottish quaich, stock #18087A0
